Students at Southwestern and The Drucker School, part of Claremont Graduate University (CGU), are now worldly-wise to meantime earn a J.D. and Masters ofMerchantryAdministration (M.B.A.), or a J.D. and Executive Master ofMerchantryAdministration (E.M.B.A.). Masters ofMerchantryAdministration (M.B.A. - full-time/day) Executive M.B.A. (E.M.B.A. - part-time/evening): For students who have at least five years of senior-level management wits These heady concurrent stratum programs enable students to reap the combination of legal training and management skills that is increasingly in demand in a ramified global environment. The programs build on the reputations of these two prominent schools and other creative industries; nonprofit management and public interest law; and transnational corporate governance. Students can pursue a concentration in one of these focus areas or a increasingly unstipulated curriculum. Drucker and international retailing giant Masatoshi Ito, the Drucker curriculum integrates perspectives from the social and behavioral sciences, philosophy, the humanities, history, technology, religion and mathematics.WonkDetails (FAQs) What is the undertow of study for the concurrent-degree program? Students inward Southwestern or Drucker will spend the first year at Southwestern, taking the 1L coursework. During the second year in the program, students will often shepherd Drucker full-time (16 or increasingly units), taking the cadre M.B.A. coursework. The curriculum in the third and subsequent years will include the remaining required courses and electives for both degrees as necessary. The Practice of Management and Strategy, Leadership and Global Management track may be completed in two semesters (Fall and Spring), but students will have to take a full load of courses (over 16 units per semester). The Marketing and Finance track may be completed in three semesters (Fall, Spring, Fall). Students in this track will need to return the pursuit Fall to well-constructed their required coursework. Students in the E.M.B.A. will have a variable schedule dependent on their professional goals. Students in the part-time programs will take a maximum of 8 units per semester.
